1938 Empire Exhibition, Scotland. A 4 3/4 octagonal Paragon plate enameled with the lion flanked by flags above Scotish thistles and within a sepia banner the inscription ‘Empire Exhibition Scotland - Bellahouston Park 1938’. Unofficially known as the British Empire Exhibition was an international exposition held at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow from May to December 1938 and opened by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. In very good condition.
