A bone china mug with crossed flags of United Kingdom and France. In really excellent condition. The mark on the base is excess gilding. The ENTENTE CORDIALE (Friendly Understanding) was a series of agreements signed on April 8 1904, between the United Kingdom and France which marked the end of centuries of intermittent conflict between the two nations, and the start of the peaceful co-existence that still continues. In good condition.
