FELIX FAURE - PRESIDENT OF FRANCE (1895-1899). A LIMOGES PORCELAIN PLATE WITH A COLOR PORTRAIT OF FELIX FAURE(1841-1899). A successful industrialist, he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 1881. After serving in several cabinet posts, he became President of France in an unexpected victory. He opposed reopening the case of Alfred Dreyfus, the dominating issue of his presidency. In very good condition.

1908 PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN PLATE - WILLIAM H. TAFT. Predident William H Taft 1909-1913. A good sepia portrait plate by the Sevres China Co. Ohio, USA. The backstamp on the plate was used from 1900 to 1908. In very good condition with only very light wear.

c.1945 ROOSEVELT, CHURCHILL & STALIN MATCH BOX COVER. An interesting match box cover of the 3 war time leaders. The top reads 'Our Deepest Gratitude and Admiration to the allies who stood United in Defeating the Greatest Tyrant in History'. Portraits on the front and national flags on the back. In good condition with some age staining and interior rusting. See all pictures.

William Ewart Gladstone(1809-1898), four times prime minister of Britain (1868-1874,1880-1885, 1886, and 1892-1894), and one of the dominant political forces in Victorian England. Leader of the Liberal Party after 1867, Gladstone changed the role of government in England.

1938 RARE NEVILLE CHAMBERLAIN BUST. 'CHAMBERLAIN THE PEACEMAKER'. A 5" 1938 BUST OF NEVILLE CHAMBERLAIN INSCRIBED ON FRONT ‘CHAMBERLAIN THE PEACEMAKER’ AFTER THE MUNICH CONFERENCE WITH HITLER. No makers marks. Excellent condition.

1845 REPEAL OF THE CORN LAWS JUG. A c.1845 JUG MARKED ‘OUR BREAD UNTAXED’ AND ‘OUR COMMERCE FREE’ SUPPORTING THE REPEAL OF THE HATED CORN LAWS WHICH RESTRICTED THE IMPORT OF CHEAPER WHEAT AND CORN. THE CORN LAWS WERE SUPPORTED BY THE WEALTHY LANDOWNERS WHO STILL CONTROLLED PARLIAMENT. IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH MINOR WEAR TO THE HANDLE AND TYPICAL LIGHT ALL OVER CRAZING.

FULL LENGTH FIGURE OF SIR AUSTIN CHAMBERLAIN. A cast aluminum figure with good detail on wood base - 10" including base. Austin Chamberlain, 1863-1937 the eldest son of Joseph Chamberlain MP, and the brother of Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain . Chancellor of the Exchequer 1903-06. Foreign Secretary 1924-1929. First Lord of the Admiralty 1931. Very good condition.
