c.1896-1900 LIEUT.-COL. BADEN-POWELL PLATE - BOER WAR. A Lieutenant-Colonel Baden-Powell plate showing his first decoration The Ashanti Star, which he received after The Ashanti Expedition 1895-1896. He was promoted to Major General after the siege of Mafeking in 1900. In very good condition with some wear to the gilded rim.

MAJOR-GENERAL BADEN-POWELL BOER WAR PLATE. WALL PLATE c.1901-1907 FOR MAJOR-GENERAL BADEN-POWELL FOUNDER OF THE BOY SCOUTS. Baden-Powell was promoted to Major-General in 1901. A rank he held until 1907 when he was promoted to Lieutenant-General. In good condition with a small chip to the glaze on the rear hanging hole and some all over age crazing.

BOER WAR CUSHION WITH STEVENGRAPHS AND PIN BACKS. An unusual heart shaped cushion c.1900 with a silk marked 'A present from Aldershot'. A military town in England. 2 small Stevengraphs of Lord Randolph Churchill (Winston's father), pin backs of Col.Baden-Powell (founder of the boy scouts) and Lord Roberts.
