A Lieutenant-Colonel Baden-Powell plate showing his first decoration The Ashanti Star, which he received after The Ashanti Expedition 1895-1896. He was promoted to Major General after the siege of Mafeking in 1900. In very good condition with some wear to the gilded rim.

MAJOR-GENERAL BADEN-POWELL BOER WAR PLATE.
WALL PLATE c.1901-1907 FOR MAJOR-GENERAL BADEN-POWELL FOUNDER OF THE BOY SCOUTS. Baden-Powell was promoted to Major-General in 1901. A rank he held until 1907 when he was promoted to Lieutenant-General. In good condition with a small chip to the glaze on the rear hanging hole and some all over age crazing.

An unusual heart shaped cushion c.1900 with a silk marked 'A present from Aldershot'. A military town in England. 2 small Stevengraphs of Lord Randolph Churchill (Winston's father), pin backs of Col.Baden-Powell (founder of the boy scouts) and Lord Roberts.
