c.1896-1900 LIEUT.-COL. BADEN-POWELL PLATE - BOER WAR. A Lieutenant-Colonel Baden-Powell plate. He was promoted to Major General after the siege of Mafeking in 1900. In very good condition with some wear to the gilded rim.

Size: 8 3/4 - 22cm.

MAJOR-GENERAL BADEN-POWELL BOER WAR PLATE. WALL PLATE c.1901-1907 FOR MAJOR-GENERAL BADEN-POWELL FOUNDER OF THE BOY SCOUTS. Baden-Powell was promoted to Major-General in 1901. A rank he held until 1907 when he was promoted to Lieutenant-General. In good condition with a small chip to the glaze on the rear hanging hole and some all over age crazing.

Size: 8 1/2".
