c.1916 WORLD WAR I ALLIED UNITY PLATE by W.H.GOSS. An interesting plate with a border of 8 hand colored flags of the allied nations. A center Lion of Flanders (Commemorating the heroic stand of Belgium)surrounded by 'Unity makes Strength'. The rear has the mark of the English maker W.H.Goss and 'Depose - F.B.den Boer Middelburg 1916'. The attached metal wall hanger appears to have been made at the time. Some wear to the center black color otherwise in excellent condition.

WWI ARCADIAN CRESTED CHINA FIGURE - NURSE EDITH CAVELL, Crest of the City of London on the front base. 6 1/4". Nurse Cavel as shot by the Germans in Brussels for helping the allied soldiers escape. Excellent condition.
