FELIX FAURE - PRESIDENT OF FRANCE (1895-1899). A LIMOGES PORCELAIN PLATE WITH A COLOR PORTRAIT OF FELIX FAURE(1841-1899). A successful industrialist, he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 1881. After serving in several cabinet posts he became President of France in an unexpected victory. He opposed reopening the case of Alfred Dreyfus, the dominating issue of his presidency. In very good condition.

c.1939 NEVILLE CHAMBERLAIN CHARACTER MUG. A good 3" - 8cm tall Neville Chamberlain character mug with good detail and his trade mark umbrella as the handle. Rear impresed Chaberlain. British Prime Minister between 1937 and 1940. Base has the Lancaster & Sons mark used 1938 - 1944. In very good condition.

1908 ELECTION OF WILLIAM HOWARD TAFT / J.S.SHERMAN With color portraits of President William Howard Taft and Vice President J.S. Sherman The color portraits are surrounded by American Flags and a banner reading "W.H.Taft - E Pluribus Unum - J.S.Sherman" . In Good Condition with only a small chip 8 o'clock on the plate and some age crazing. The back is marked "Sterling China" and has the advertisement "M. Goodman, The Clothier, 3910 Lorain Ave, Cleveland, Ohio".

1845 REPEAL OF THE CORN LAWS JUG. A c.1845 JUG MARKED ‘OUR BREAD UNTAXED’ AND ‘OUR COMMERCE FREE’ SUPPORTING THE REPEAL OF THE HATED CORN LAWS WHICH RESTRICTED THE IMPORT OF CHEAPER WHEAT AND CORN. THE CORN LAWS WERE SUPPORTED BY THE WEALTHY LANDOWNERS WHO STILL CONTROLLED PARLIAMENT. IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH MINOR WEAR TO THE HANDLE AND TYPICAL LIGHT ALL OVER CRAZING.
