1937 GEORGE VI CORONATION / GRAND NATIONAL HORSE RACE ROYAL DOULTON. A HARD TO FIND AND UNUSUAL DUAL COMMEMORATIVE FOR BOTH 1937 GRAND NATIONAL (A MAJOR BRITISH HORSE RACE) AND THE CORONATION OF KING GEORGE VI IN THE SAME YEAR. A LARGE (5 1/2" TALL) ROYAL DOULTON TANKARD. IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. The back has the race winner "Royal Mail" and additional race information. The Royal Doulton backstamp on the base along with impressed number 7119AN.

1937 CORONATION OF KING GEORGE VI BEER TANKARD. A 4 5/8" tankard with raised profiles. 'Here's health unto their Majesties'. In very good condition with light age crazing.

1953 PRINCE PHILIP A COPPER LUSTER TANKARD BY RIDGWAYS. An unusual copper luster 5 1/8" tankard for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth. Front shows a profile of Prince Philip with 'Here's health to the Duke' around the rim and 'Whom God preserve' on the back. Base marked Ridgways and dated 1953. See all photos.

WEDGWOOD QUEENSWARE TANKARD FOR THE SILVER JUBILEE OF QUEEN ELIZABETH. PTA Decorated in red, white and blue with the Queen's beasts. Silver Jubilee of the Coronation 1953-1978. Very good condition.

INVESTITURE OF PRINCE CHARLES AS PRINCE OF WALES Holkham Pottery. An unusual pottery tankard with a raised named profile of Prince Charles by Holkham Pottery (Norfolk, England). Prince of Wales feathers with "Caernarvon' (Castle) "July 1st 1969" on the back. In excellent condition.

5" WINSTON CHURCHILL ROYAL DOULTON TOBY JUG D6172 Royal Doulton toby jug designed by Harry Fenton, issued 1941 and withdrawn 1991 a seated Winston Churchill with his trade mark cigar, hat and walking stick. Great detail. Size: Medium size 5 1/4" Excellent condition.

CARLTON WARE HANGMAN - BASS ALE DRINKING MUG. It depictING a man hanging on the front, the back reads "There are several Reasons for Drinking,
And one has just entered my head,
If a man can't Drink When he's Living
How the H-! can he Drink when he's Dead?". The side shows a bottle of Bass Ale in a wreath over the caption "In Loving Memory". Made in England by Carlton Ware.. In very good condition

GOOD TEMPERANCE PLATE MID 19th CENTURY OCTAGONAL. A hand colored octagonal temperance plate with raised daisy border. The title reads "The drunkard shall not enter the kingdom of God". An angel holds a plaque reading "Intemperance is Ireland's bane, England's curse and Scotland's woe". An eye looks down from above. In very good condition with a little age crazing.
