c.1802 KING GEORGE III PEARLWARE TEA BOWL - TREATY OF AMIENS. A polychrome enamel tea bowl celebrating the Treaty of Amiens and the end (temporarily) of the hostilities between France and Britain. To the left of Britannia is Victory holding a palm frond and seated to the right is France with a staff and Liberty Cap (A symbol of the French Revolution). In good condition for its age with 3 tiny spots on the rim glaze possibly in manufacture and a small spot loss of glaze on the inside with the usual glaze crazing.

In 1858 she married PRINCE FREDERICK OF PRUSSIA (later Frederick III) in St. James Palace. The Prince was dressed in the uniform of a Prussian General. The back of the cup and the saucer shows the 18th century Sanssouci Palace the Prussian Royal Palace in Potsdam near Berlin. In very good condition with no chips cracks or restoration only very minor age wear to the luster trim. See all photos.

c.1850 CUP & SAUCER FOR OPENING OF THE BRITANNIA BRIDGE IN WALES. A rare and unusual cup and saucer for the opening of the Britannia Bridge in 1850 linking The Isle of Anglesey and mainland Wales by rail. Providing a direct link between London and the port of Holyhead for ferries to Ireland. The cup shows the new Britannia bridge built by George Stephenson in front of the 1826 Menai road bridge. The other side of the cup has ladies in Welsh costumes. The saucer has more costumed ladies one has a pig on a leash. There is a small (about 1cm ) firing separation on the lower saucer rim which occurred during manufacture otherwise in excellent condition with clear prints and luster trim. See all photos.

In good condition with a a glaze flake under the cup and some age wear to the cup rim otherwise very clean.
