1937 KING GEORGE V - HMS RODNEY 4" Tall coronation mug with a names picture of the HMS Rodney on the back Possibly for the crew. HMS Rodney (1927-1946) was named for Admiral Sir George Brydges Rodney and served extensively in the Mediterranean and Atlantic during World War II. She played a major role in the sinking of the German battleship Bismarck in May 1941. In good condition with some wear to the rim gilding.

WINSTON CHURCHILL FIGURINE BY ROYAL DOULTON. HN 3057. AN FINE QUALITY FIGURE OF SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL in a white suit with his cigar and cane. Base shows Royal Doulton mark and "Modelled by Adrian Hughes". Great detail. Really excellent condition.

1941-1946 LARGE WINSTON CHURCHILL CHARACTER JUG An English pottery jug from World War II showing Winston Churchill in naval uniform with a large cigar. Base impressed '126/2 British made'. For a similar jug see 'The Book of Churchilliana' by Douglas Hall pages 14/15. In good condition with no chips or cracks but has wear particularly on the black areas and the inside. SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL CUP & SAUCER. A post war bone china cup and saucer with a named portrait of Winston Churchill on the cup and saucer. The base is marked H & M Sutherland bone china. In very good condition with just a little wear to the saucer's inner rim.

c.1941 WINSTON CHURCHILL MATCH BOX COVER. A very interesting match box cover the front showing 'The Prime Minister' 'Mr Winston Churchill'. The back has his message to President Roosevelt Feb 9th 1941 'Put your confidence in us........Give us the tools and we will finish the job". The top has President Roosevelt's reply "Britain needs ships ......They shall get them". Very good condition minor staining no rusting. See all pictures.

COPELAND SPODE BEAKER BRITISH WAR RELIEF SOCIETY WWII. An unusual pottery beaker by Copeland Spode printed with a shield (surmounted by a crown) and decorated with the British Lion and DIEU ET MON DROIT (God and My Right). The rear has RAF wings and inscribed for the British War Relief Society. In excellent condition.

The bottom of both pieces are marked' PARAGON' with double warrants from 'HM THE QUEEN & HM QUEEN MARY' and 'PATRIOTIC SERIES PRODUCED DURING THE WAR OF BRITAIN'. In very good condition.

In good condition slight wear to the gilding and a pin prick in the green..

c.1941 PARAGON PATRIOTIC SERIES BATTLESHIPS CUP & SAUCER, World War II Paragon Patriotic Series cup and saucer the bases marked "Patriotic Series, Produced during War of Britain". The saucer has an anchor on a blue background in an acanthus leaf frame with a crown on top. This is the badge worn on Naval Officers caps. The inside of the cup there are three large battleships and a banner reading "Britain shall triumph her ships shall plough the sea, her standard be justice her watchword be free". One of the more popular designs of this interesting series. Excellent condition.
