19th CENTURY PRINCE OF WALES ( KING EDWARD VII) BLACK GLASS JUG.
A very unusual black glass 4 3/4" high jug. The Prince of Wales feathers and a rose (of England) on one side - a thistle (of Scotland ) on the other. I can not find any published record of this jug but it was probably produced for the wedding to Princess Alexandra in 1863. In good condition with no wear and only a couple of very minor flea bites to the base.

A pressed glass oval dish with named profiles of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. Marked 'Crowned Westminster May 12th 1937'. Ib very good condition.

c.1869 WILLIAM GLADSTONE PRESSED GLASS DISH.
A pressed clear glass 5 inch dish with hard to see diamond registration mark for 1869. Center reads 'For the Million' and the outside 'Gladstone'. Gladstone, William Ewart (1809-1898), four times prime minister of Britain (1868-1874,1880-1885, 1886, and 1892-1894), and one of the dominant political forces in Victorian England. Leader of the Liberal Party after 1867, Gladstone changed the role of government in England. Tiny rim nibbles on which do not detract.
