Outside rim reads 'Edward VIII King and Emperor'. Enameled in bright colors with a heraldic shield supported by a lion and a unicorn. A beautiful plate in excellent condition.

A PARAGON 9 1/2" CORONATION PLATE FOR KING GEORGE VI IN 1937. A good quality Paragon 9 1/2" plate for the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1937. Enameled in bright colors with a central heraldic shield supported by a lion and a unicorn. Usual age wear to the outer rim gilding and a small dark spot at a little after noon on the rim edge. Otherwise in very good condition no chips cracks or restoration..
