A GOOD PARAGON PLATE FOR THE PROPOSED CORONATION OF KING EDWARD VIII. A splendid 10 1/2" Paragon plate for the proposed Coronation of King Edward VIII in 1937. Outside rim reads 'Edward VIII King and Emperor'. Enameled in bright colors with a heraldic shield supported by a lion and a unicorn. A beautiful plate in excellent condition.

KING GEORGE VI CORONATION CHOCOLATE CUP AND COVER BY PARAGON. A hard to find Paragon chocolate cup with brown lion handle and cover for the 1937 coronation. In good condition with some age wear to rim and inner rim gilding. See all pictures.
Size: 3 1/2" - 9cm tall. 2 1/2" - 6.5cm diameter at the top widening at the base.  

1937 KING GEORGE VI PARAGON PLATE. A fine quality 10 1/2" Paragon plate. Outside rim reads 'King George VI and Queen Elizabeth'. Enameled in bright colors with a the Royal Coat of Arms supported by a lion and a unicorn. Hand finished in enamels. In very good condition.

RARE 1937 PARAGON CORONATION PLATE QUEEN ELIZABETH (THE QUEEN MOTHER). This individual plate for Queen Elizabeth (Later the Queen Mother) is rarely available and this one is in great condition with vibrant hand enameled colors. The rim reads - 'Her Gracious Majesty Queen Elizabeth'.

1959 OPENING OF THE ST. LAWRENCE SEAWAY BY QUEEN ELIZABETH AND PRINCE PHILIP BY PARAGON. A PARAGON bone china cup and saucer. The saucer is inscribed for the opening and the St. Lawrence Seaway. The cup is marked 'E & P Canada 1959. In really excellent condition.

A 7" x 1 3/4" deep baby plate by Paragon for Princess Elizabeth (Queen Elizabeth II). 1927 Photo by Marcus Adams with her date of birth 21st April 1926. In good condition with minor wear from use to the bowl and wear to the gold trim. There is a small ground area on the base rim.

1951 VISIT OF PRINCESS ELIZABETH AND PRINCE PHILIP TO CANADA. A 4 1/2" Paragon bone china dish for the royal visit of the Princess Elizabeth less than 4 monthe before her accession to the throne. Hand finished design with a center crown over a maple leaf surrounded by roses. In excellent condition.

PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT CUP & SAUCER BY PARAGON. Good Paragon bone china with center bowl named portrait of President Roosevelt and 'Fight for Freedom and Democary' around the rim. On the base of both the cup & saucer is the 1952-1956 Paragon mark. The cup also has 'Original Etching by R.Johnson. In excellent condition.

PARAGON PATRIOTIC SERIES - WORLD WAR II - CANADA - CUP & SAUCER c.1941. Inscribed 'Canada' and 'For Right and Liberty'. PARAGON was able to continue manufacturing fine quality bone china during the Second World War by producing patriotic items for export. This included the 'Patriotic Series' which raised funds for the war effort. Bottom of both pieces are marked' PARAGON' with double warrants from 'HM THE QUEEN & HM QUEEN MARY'. The saucer is also marked 'Patriotic Series Produced during War of Britain'. Excellent condition.

EMPIRE EXHIBITION GLASGOW SCOTLAND 1938 PARAGON PLATE 1938 Empire Exhibition, Scotland. A 4 3/4 octagonal Paragon plate enameled with the Scottish lion flanked by flags above thistles and scrolls within a sepia banner inscribed ‘Empire Exhibition Scotland - Bellahouston Park 1938’. Unofficially known as the British Empire Exhibition was an international exposition held at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow from May to December 1938 and opened by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. In very good condition.
