1938 Empire Exhibition, Scotland. A 4 3/4 octagonal Paragon plate enameled with the Scottish lion flanked by flags above thistles and scrolls within a sepia banner inscribed ‘Empire Exhibition Scotland - Bellahouston Park 1938’. Unofficially known as the British Empire Exhibition was an international exposition held at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow from May to December 1938 and opened by King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. In very good condition.
